Jim Laffin

My wife and family and I, have called Woodstock home for the past 14 years. Over many years in sports and daily life, I have suffered a number of minor concussions. Five years ago, I suffered from a moderate Traumatic Brain Injury while camping, causing numerous neurological issues and tremendous strain on my family. After research and consultation with my family physician, the problems were determined to be associated with the numerous concussions. During the extensive rehabilitation process at Parkwood in London, I was also able to earn my licenses as a Life Insurance Agent and Mutual Fund Investment Advisor. It was the knowledge learned during rehab that allowed me to earn both licenses. There have been a number of charities we have supported over the years. I joined the Board in 2017. Serving on the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association of London and Region allows me to bring awareness and education to the community while assisting others like myself.
