Nicole Ferriera

Biography

Nicole Ferreira is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals with cognitive and communication needs to make positive changes in their lives. She has worked with various client populations including acquired brain injury, learning disabilities, and mental health disorders. In addition to attending many brain injury courses and conferences over the years, Nicole has completed the Ontario Brain Injury Association’s Cognitive-Communication Disorders (Levels 1 and 2) and presented at the Brain Injury Association of London and Region’s annual conference. She has developed programs for children, adolescents, and adults with cognitive-communication disorders including the Perth County Post-Concussion Program. A six-week multidisciplinary education program to improve functioning, coping, and life participation post-concussion. With support from the Brain Injury Association of London and Region (charitable partner), this is a fully-funded program that provides needed services in Perth County. In addition to her ample work experience, Nicole volunteers in her community by facilitating the Perth County Brain Injury Support Group, and sitting on the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association of London and Region.
