Jamie is more than qualified to be the Peer Support Coordinator because he has experienced both kinds of brain injuries (traumatic & non-traumatic); both kinds of meningitis (bacterial & viral); and both kinds of stroke (hemorrhagic & ischemic). Jamie was one of the first successfully trained mentors at the inaugural training in 2006. after his one and only partnership, the original Peer Support Coordinator left and Jamie was “promoted” to the role in 2007 and has held the position since.
